    Doable is a family productivity app. We collect only the data needed to make the app work, we never sell your data, and you can delete your account and data at any time.
  

1. Who We Are

Doable is developed and operated by Neeraj Khandelwal ("we", "us", or "our"). If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at neerajiiit@gmail.com.

2. Information We Collect

Account information

Email address — used to create and identify your account
Display name — optional name shown to your family members

Content you create

Tasks, habits, rewards, and grocery list items you add
Kid profiles (names only — no personal data about children)
Fasting session start/end times
Photos you choose to attach to kid point events ("moment photos")

Voice data

When you use the Voice Tasks feature, your speech is processed locally on your device by the operating system's built-in speech recognition (Web Speech API). We do not record, store, or transmit raw audio.

Device information

Device token for push notifications (FCM token) — stored only to deliver notifications to your device

We do not collect: precise location, contacts, browsing history, or any data unrelated to app functionality.

3. How We Use Your Information

To create and maintain your account
To sync tasks, habits, and family data across your family's devices in real time
To send push notifications for task assignments and reminders (only if you enable them)
To send partner invite emails when you request them
To display your family's activity within the app

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than operating the app.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure). All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest using AES-256 encryption. Access to your family's data is restricted by Row Level Security policies — only authenticated members of your family can read or write your family's data.

Photos you attach to moments are stored in Supabase Storage and are accessible only to authenticated members of your family.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the app:

Supabase (supabase.com) — database, authentication, file storage, and real-time sync. Privacy Policy
Firebase Cloud Messaging / FCM (Google) — push notifications. Privacy Policy
Resend (resend.com) — transactional email for partner invites. Privacy Policy

These services process data only as necessary to provide their services to us. We do not sell or share your data with any other third parties.

6. Children's Privacy

Doable is designed for use by adults managing household tasks for their family. The app allows parents to create kid profiles (first name only) to assign tasks and track habit points. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13.

Kid profiles contain only a name chosen by the parent. No email address, account credentials, or other personal data is collected from or about children.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, please contact us at neerajiiit@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only:

With other members of your family group (within the app, as you intend)
With our service providers (Supabase, Firebase, Resend) solely to operate the app
If required by law or to protect our legal rights

8. Your Rights and Choices

Access: You can view all your data within the app
Correction: You can edit your profile, tasks, and family data at any time
Deletion: You can delete individual items within the app. To delete your entire account and all associated data, use our Account Deletion Request page or email us at neerajiiit@gmail.com with subject "Delete my account". Data is deleted within 30 days.
Notifications: You can disable push notifications at any time in your device Settings
Microphone: You can revoke microphone permission at any time in your device Settings — this only disables Voice Tasks

9. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

10. International Users

Doable is operated from India. If you are accessing the app from another country, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries where our service providers (Supabase, Google, Resend) operate, including the United States. By using the app, you consent to this transfer.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
